So now that we are finished with Sula and I’m all caught up with these blogs and comments I must say I am a happy camper!!!!
Like I dunno again these books aren’t my cups of tea so like i said before it has been a difficult semester!!! However out of all the books we have read this semester I must say that this has been one of my favorites! I dunno why but it did seem to draw me in just a little bit. Of course it was an easy read in that it was a shorter one but even though it seems to be crazy and messed up just like most of the books we have read this semester I dunno I like this one the most. I wish though just once we could get over the whole crazy people, death, and messed up relationship things. I’m still holding out just a bit of hope for our last book Native Speaker maybe that one won’t be so twisted!!! Where is the Love peoples????
For this blog I commented on Amanda Lea’s blog and Devon’s Blog!
I also agree that some of these books were a little rough and that I have enjoyed this one. Also it is true that we have read a lot of books that have a lot of twisted characters in them.

I agree that some of the books like the Sound and the Fury was difficult to read but this one was an easy read. Also most of these books have twisted characters like the family dynamics of Nel and Sula.

I agree with you that all of the books we’ve read are all related because there is always a crazy person and there are always relationship problems. I don’t know how these people function. I too hope that the Native Speaker book is better and more fun to read!

This one has sorta been my favorite too, it’s right to the point and it doesn’t go all over the place like the other books have been.
